cant figure out this darn o-scope

dso nano o-scope. i have found my h/u clipping level etc but when i do the amp. the wave goes off the screen and i cant see it. anyone know how to get the wave smaller?

That means every horizontal line is 1 V.

yep. i also found another setting that says output 1000hz and goes up/down.. should i leave it there/

That setting could be sampling rate, could be trigger, could be signal generation, I cannot say with it out of context.

According to the manual (not real clear) it can output a square wave between 10 hz and 1 mhz. Doesn't say what voltage.
