Cant figure it out

A buddy of mine has 2 pioneer premeir subs on a memphis 1000d, and pioneer 1100 deck...now, the system will bump for a couple seconds, then cut out...checked the wiring, its good, wires in side box are good, all wires to amp are good and tite, amps not up to high...any suggestions??

im kinda confused with what ur saying..but if this helps any, the system will bump..and a green light will be on...then i turn it up, it cuts out and a red light comes on.

Twist both grounds together. Good call on checking power with a multimeter. I assume you have pulled out and re-inserted the fuses, so as a quick test, connect the radio direct to the battery...

We still need to know what amp is having the issue, make and model. Some mono amps only have 1 preamp input and the other is a output.

Ive never seen this amplifier before. Can you take a pick of the back? Interesting amplifier.

problem was the LOC burnt out when I had touched cables. got a new LOC and now all is working. have to get the gain right, lights flickering with heavy bass now

I always planned on installing switches in the remote to the amps to shut them down when I want to. Admittedly I’ve never gotten around to it. An example why I would use it. One, to shut the bass...
