i cant decide what to cover my box i jus built with, ive thought about using carpet, but have also seen bedliner used http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_Truck-Bed-Coating-Duplicolor_7140498-P_N3279_C|GRP2050____, and ive thought about using this wrinkle paint, http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_PNT-WRINKLE-FINISH-12-OZ-Duplicolor_7140444-P_N3589_C|GRP2050____, has anyone used the wrinkle paint or bedliner before how well does it work???

Bedliner is pretty common. It's very durable and looks nice. The wrinkle paint looks nice but doesn't hold up as well. Carpet is always a good choice though, easy to do and looks professional.

http://www.partsexpress.com has carpet in light gray, dark gray (charcoal), and jet black, so it's pretty easy to find something that'll match your factory interior. Just get some 3M Super 77 spray adhesive or something similar. Contact cement works well too.

The wrinkle finish does not hold up that great against abrasion. So anything in your trunk rubbing up against it kinda wears it off. I would suggest matching carpet or bedliner over the wrinkle finish. If you want a textured surface, you could use that flekstone paint. It's stronger. And if they don't have flekstone in your color, just use any color to get the desired texture, then just put matching paint over it.

that's what i do. i use "stone creations" as the texture. and you will need to do a clear coat of some kind. either matte or gloss clear acrylic works pretty good. polyurethane or varnish will be a way more durable clear finish, but it takes forever to dry and can smell for a long time in your car. far more durable though.
