If you want a .25ohm load...

That is wiring them in parallel. After you get them wired like that diagram shows, connect a + from one group to a - from the other group then the other + and - go to your amp.

each sub wired series is 8 0hms 8 - 8ohm loads in parallel is 1 ohm. simple math.
