There is different types of clipping, signal and and power clipping. Signal clipping is where you lose the tips of the waveform this is least destructive and has been proven really not to be a threat. Now power clipping or amplifier clipping is caused by not having enough input power, this is highly destructive, shooting straight DC voltage to the sub and because power flows negative to positive this is probably why both negatives are cashed... Update: $70 for recone. i can ship it to them and just get charged for shipping and recone or i can do it myself. Which should i do? ive never tried to recone before. I know theres a walk through on the forum somewhere i just have to find it. I had to call them and find out the price. i should have just called them in the first place.

haha sweet, cheap sigs with our subs great advertisment lol, try to solder it wont hurt unless u do huge chuncks and it starts slapping against the cone, other than that id say the solder wont hold n just break off than the shrapnal will turn ur car into a car bomb of subwooferes mass effectise and this could be dangerous (to little children under the age of 4)!
