Can what this audio dealer said be true?

Now I know most places just try to sell stuff off, exagerrate and try to get you to buy their stuff. But primetime sound in webster,ny said that they could hook up my blazer for $770 with 2 kicker comp 15"s that are on sale ($170per pair), Autotek mono 1000 watt amp (new brands that are good but still made overseas $400), custom 6cu ft box ($200). They said with this setup in my blazer it will beat my 2 RE SX's powered by my 1200d... I know the amps real good, but I'm wondering if the subs will actually pound that hard? Either way I'll be purchasign the amp, but I'm just havin financial probs right now so I can't get the best subs. But they said these will still outpound my current setup

Unless you have SX10's compared to two Comp15's then maybe cuz of cone area but otherwise I don't see it happening for a daily system.

What type of enclosure are you Sx's in now? And what type of custom enclosure are they making? I know it is 6 cubic feet but do you have any more info? And ether way I would think that your new setup would not be as loud.

They're full of shit, even two CVR's wouldnt outpound your SXs, I have two CVRs and theyre good but I would take SE's over them anyday. Now three CVR's might be a different story...

Well here is the thing with dealers, they deal with idiots EVERYDAY all DAY so unless he knew what you had in your car and heard it for himself he was most likly going off of what he is used to hearing "man my shit bumps" and it then totally sounds like ***.

Plus dealers are trying to sell you something, that's what they do to put food on the table, or crack in their babies hands lol.....
