Yeah he has some sick skills with wood. I am thinking of getting a box from him. I'm in the same province.

But I'm thinking about upgrading my subs, so I might wait before I get some new subs.

While this construction looks outstanding, I cannot even begin to start with how poor some of the design work on a few of these is (the walls and rectangles I'm fine with) if I can put in my two cents. Just as an example, you never want to put correlated speakers (receiving the same signal at the same time) on planes 90 degrees opposed from one another unless they are to be dipole speakers out of phase, and in this case, they aren't. They also aren't going to be bipolar speakers either which would mean a 180 degree opposition or a 90 degree in phase opposition. All you're basically doing here is getting massive cancelling.

this is what seperates an enclosure designer from a box builder.....

the vehicles interior is part of the enclosure...a good designer can look at the

vehicles interior and visualize the design knowing what will move and unload

air properly taking full advantage of the interior with out playing acoustic pin ball

That was actually my point exactly. The man clearly has outstanding skills when it comes to construction, however, the designs being constructed leave something to be desired. Now if he has taken everything into account and there are some huge confounding factors that I don't know about, then I'll gladly note that I'm ******* on my foot, but as he wanted to know the reasoning why, then I am not sure. Never claimed to be a designer, just a builder. Sometimes you have to do what a client wants whether its right or wrong.
