Can u store MP3's on the CD player??

im pretty sure i am gonna buy a alpine 9811, but i was wondering if u can store MP3's to the CD player and then i wont have to have 100 CDs in my car if i can just store them on the CD player?

umm if it is capable.

look on the product description... if it duznt have a hard drive then no.

There is a alpine harddrive unit (MM Driver, dont know specific model numbers) that can store mp3's, but is not made anymore so you would need to buy it used off ebay or something.

Just make a carputer if you want to do that, or burn cd's full of mp3 - you can't have that much music you want to listen to all the time...

the "MP3/WMA" means that the player reads MP3 and WMA files burned onto a CD. Wheras a normal music cd uses .wav files. In the MP3 cd's you can have more songs on one cd.

No. Clarion did/does make a deck that stores music. I believe Clarion's term is "SoundCatcher".
