Hey, I need help for my car now, my gf's car is all settled with thx to u guys and now I wanna move onto mine.

I need to change factory speakers for a little upgrade. I need 6.5''s ad 5.25''s and 4'' for a small price. I was thinking up to $70 for fronts which are 6.5s, and up to $50 each for the others.

Which would u recommend for good enough sound in such small price range with decent bass ?

I want to only upgrade the speakers, I know more money should go for fronts and that it should be components, that I don't need the backs(in my case I actually do need them)and that amp would be ideal to run that, even a small one, but I just want to upgrade for a small damage to my wallet.

Here's a Metra measurements:

Location Size Depth

Front Speaker 6.5 4

Front Tweeter 4.0 3

Rear Speaker 5.25 4

Edit:picked few ideas few responses down

Amp some decent components with that money and you'll be a lot happier. Don't bother replacing all those speakers, amp'd comps will sound better than a bunch of speakers running of HU power.

I know, but I don't want to bother with components and amps and wiring and settings, just wanna take the cover off, unhook the two wires, hook em to new speaker and put cover back on. I don't want to get it sounding amazing, I just want to upgrade the speakers for cheap so when I set volume hugher they won't sound like they'r about to blow like my stock speakers distorting the sound like crap //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Sorry bud, but until you get an amp for some speakers, this is going to happen. The distorting comes from the internal amp in the HU reaching it's limits.

this.

you will not see better performance out of an aftermarket speaker on a stock headunit in most cases. Most aftermarket drivers require a LOT more power than the stock headunit to see their potential, thus your sound really wont improve.

If it is a must, find a low RMS driver that will fit, which is going to give you the best output for stock power (which in some cases can be as low as a few watts). I know kicker has a 25rms 6.5" coaxial, i dont remember the model though.
