i tried and i can't get it right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif ......the angled part screws me up, i tried to divide it up into different shapes but w/no luck......any and all help is greatly appreciated //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

also on the bottom purple piece does it call for a 2 degree cut?isn't that kinda useless, 2 degrees??am i reading it wrong?

And when attaching angled cuts(the black 3 3/4 rect. piece), do i just clamp and glue them?

p.s. sorry for the huge pic and the long post but some of the numbers are kinda small n blurry and i need these answered b4 i build it......the box is for a 90 camaro, and the site where i got it from doesn't state the volume.

you win an e-hug..........

i could build a square one but then i couldn't fit my subs on the baffle.......i need to angle it out to fit 12's.

any info on the 2 degree cut? or the clamping and/or joining of angle pieces???

seriously though, do you want the hug or not?

Well problem is I can't see how the top is. The front and back look flat but is that black part that is above the green rectangle in the cut-away the whole top? or does it step down or what? Draw me a rough sketch of the completed box so that I know what I'm looking at... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

i labeled the pieces for easier referance.

.......i didn't really understand ur question, but the baffle is flat and sits on top of everything, the cut out of the baffle is trimmed out to fit around my trunk lock.here's a pic of what the box SHOULD look like finished all except for the indentation on the left goes all the way down instead of stopping......i'll try to answer any more questions...

Well I just did some rough calculations and just realized that those are all external dimentions. I got about 2.1 cu. ft. So factor in the thickness of your MDF and some estimates I made I'd say that this is from 1.6-1.8 cubic feet. It's late or I might have a brain more willing to solve it correctly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Kiddies, here goes your practical use of algebra or geometry or one of those useless math skills. You gotta cut the box into sections (ones that resemble normal boxes) figure out the missing dimension (because your cutting it apart your gonna be missing a dim), figure out the volume of each part and then add it all together. I would help but I am so old that by the time I remember how (if I can) and then do the calcs one of the youngins around here will have already done it. Would probably help to draw the box out assembled with dims then you can grab a part of it and work it on the side.
