Can the Alpine 9815 handle 2ohm speakers?

No...just get a new amp...dont run your speakers off the HU thats the worst thing you can do...
Well, I'm getting new front speakers and an amp, but thought I'd just power the rears off deck. The amp would power the fronts and a sub. I don't want to fill my trunk up with amps so this is a good configuration for me.

Hey!
My '97 prelude comes with a pair of 2ohm speakers in the rear. I plan to amp the fronts but wanted to run the rears off the deck. Could using deck power for these 6x9 2ohm speakers cause damage to either the deck or the speakers?
