I know their is plenty of threads asking "what will be louder" But this is not what im after in this thread. I want to know what you guys would take. I have the opertunity too pick up a 12" AA Atlas that has been modded to d4 coils. It is rated at 300w RMS, but I can Also pick up a 12" Fi Q in need of a recone for about the same price. The Fi can play but its surround is ripped. I know this forum has a love for Fi but where does the atlas stand. I think the Q will be louder, and Im after SPL but I like it sounding good, or at least like music, somewhat. If you had the chance would you take the working atlas, or the semi-working Q?
