heard this story as well. The family got off criminally and now I believe the victoms family was trying to sue for some other things and have been hiring some top lawyers... Last I heard from this case was months ago and it was still ongoing but it could be all settled by now. I know there was no criminal trouble though. sad in a way.

I dunno about that. I live(d) in a small town and the cops all had laptops. My friends and I would be out all hours of the morning riding our bikes (bmx) and talk with some cops who had nothing to do. They would just sit there surfing the web while shooting the breeze with us. One specific instance, a cop was showing us paintball guns he was going to buy. :weird:

yes they can.. i got introuble for this.. i told a kid on aim i was gonna shoot him and next day at school, cops where there with print outs from aim showing what i said.. the black cops> normal cops.. they do what ever they want
