Can one beefy 15" get louder than two SA12's?

A pair of 12s should be better,but an 18 would be the way to go if you want one sub..in my opinion of course

2 12's usually beats 1 15 in trunks from my experience.

We have 2 XFL 12's on an APK 2500, it's pretty loud, louder than any 15 I've heard on the same power.

Depeds on the sub, but in a word... yes. a single beefy 15 could pwn a pair of SA12's.

its a 12, a beastly 12... Id def take that trade, never done a dual 12 setup and I would like too... and the me gusta is just a sticker so yeah I can take it off.

Pretty much yeah, I would like to do two VVX15's.. but I doubt I have enough room to make them work, ugh I hate being limited to 12" and below by the size of my trunk haha.

Bigger subs mean nothing if you cannot build a good box for them,,you can build a solid bass performance sub box for smaller subs that will out perform any larger sub with a substandard box built..Bigger isnt always better

You could get BUCK to build you some spec boxes for those 12s, that would be outstanding in performing at theyre best,that will sound fantastic
