RE is the house brand for a buildhouse named Destijl Engineering. They are somewhat similar to Adire, in that selling car audio subwoofers under the name "Resonant Engineering" is not their only line of business.

99.999999% of people doing HT do not run IB on their sub stage...you know that, and I know that. There are VERY few people running IB if you broke down the numbers. And that woofer is still entirely inpracticle for home use, and even if AV picks it up, they will not sell a whole **** load of them because they are grossly inefficient. Who wants to sell a run of woofers with only maybe a handful sold each month? hah

on average only a handful of people do a "customized" ht set up. in the addition going in across the street from my dad (he is helping with it) there are 20+ houses with stadium style seating in the entertainment room. 2 of those i know for sure have 5 ib subs down each wall ... is it a percentage of any home theater bizz? no but with todays market haveing .005% and doing it right can still mean profits....each set up like that has $$$$$$$ over each set up literally

Not what I've been told. Same people operating out of the same place. Hell, they used to have the exact same contact information; address, phone number, etc.

Maybe that's changed.

They aren't any more impractical than a sub with 50+mm Xmax and a mounting depth that's deeper than it's diameter, though..........
