can I wire midrange speakers (no tweeters) directly to amplifier?

This is a simple answer just havent done it before. I need to power 2 mids. Can i wire them to 4ohm and run them off a single channel of an amplifier w/o a crossover? Thanks

Yes. But they will be playing full range unless you set up crossovers on your amp/processor/headunit. If you don't, they will not sound good at all unless this is for a full range application.

midrange speaker is ment tobe used with a crossover, if hooked up with no crossover they'll last a few minutes i'd say

go get an electronic 3way crossover or a 3way passive crossover. You could build your own with an inductor and a capacitor. So your answer is YES / NO You have stipulations.
