can i wire a high power amp to my door speakers?

Most mono block amplifiers are not full range amplifiers. They are not meant to reproduce higher frequencies, only bass frequencies, such as 250 hz and below.

Most 2/4/5/6 channel amplifiers will run speakers or subs, they will reproduce any frequency.
