Can I wire 2x dual 2 ohms to 2 ohms?

Well Im not sure if I want to go 2 ohms or just do 2 amps at 1ohm apiece but I was thinking of doing each series so their each 4 ohm, then parallel to drop it to 2 ohms. Or does this not work that way? Im not too sure, Ive always had only one sub and a xenon 600.1 which is 600 at any ohms.

yes...series vc's to 4ohm and parallel at the amp to make 2ohm

Alright, because Im getting 2x hifonics brutus 12 d2 so I was thinking of either getting another 600watt amp or a 1200.1/something that would do (stable) 1200 at .5.

keep it safe an do 1200 at 2. kicker comes to mind first.
