Can i use this for the Big 3?

I will be running 0 awg through out my setup. But i have alot of 1 awg wire lying around. And i was wondering, even though i'm running 0 awg throughout my setup, is it ok if i can use the 1 awg for the big 3???

The amount of current a wire can carry is HEAVILY dependent on the length of the run. 1awg for short runs like the big 3 is more than adaquate. Each little run should be able to support much more current than your long run of 0/1awg...

thanks. im trying to fit the 0 awg in my distro block right now. if it doesnt fit i guess it'll be best if i stick the 0 wag for the big 3 and the 1 awg for the setup.

Trim down the wire to make it fit.......

not at all. You DEFINITLY want your bigger wire for the long run. For short runs like the big three, you could probably do down 4 guage and still be fine.
