Here's some background info on the whole project:

As you can see.. I accidentally effed up the RCA when I was running it back.

Wha I did to fix it was open the wire, and splice together all 4 wires and the exposed wire down the center, and taped all around it to close it up.

Is this going to work?? or did I completely fubar myself?

BTW... the fix involved massive electrical tape (I don't have a soldering iron). I know it's jenky and ghetto as hell.. but will I still work?? :/

By doing that you ruined the cables (but possibly not permanently, hopefully)

Inside that sheathing that you opened up is the wiring for both left and right channels with a positive and negative for each (resulting in 4 wires)

All those being spliced together isn't going to have very happy results... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

oh yeah.. I mean, there were 2 white ones, a red one and a yellow.. along w/that exposed one down the center. I was very careful to match everything up.. i just hope it all works.

Guess I just have to try it out and see!
