can i use any xover with any mids/tweeter combo?

for example (not saying i'd do this setup) but could i run eclipse tweets, kicker mids, and a/d/s xovers as a set? or are they all designed to run with certain products.

Technically, yes you could run any mid/tweet/crossover combination you want. It probably wouldn't be a good idea though, unless you knew exactly where to cross over each speaker and what kind of a rolloff sounds good.

Usually if they come in a set, it's best to keep them that way.

yea. ok. i belive i may have blown tweeters in my kicker set (forgot to mention that in my forsale section) i was going to try and just replade my tweeters, but wasnt sure if my kicker xover would allow a different tweeter or not. i dont know if theyre blown, just on certain frequencies they distort. bad. usually when someone is talking. at high volumes you cant hear it at all, but at lower, casual listening volumes, u can hear it. and i dont blast my music that much because i like clean, clear music. i bump hard once in a while, but not much. and its at these low volumes u can hear the distortion in my tweets. and i cant have that. lol. got a suggestion on a nice set of tweeters? nothing to expensive. like... 100.00 max. maybe 130.00
