I have eclipse SC6500's in front, and a set of 6" Kicker middrivers in my rear deck. The kickers dont play much highs, what they do play sounds justs very muffled. if i get a crossover that allows a 3rd connection, could i ditch my eclipse x-overs and add my kickers to them? basicly turn it into a 3-way set, only the kickers would be in my rear deck

I wouldn't stay passive if I was you. It would also play into your favor to know the freq. response of each of your drivers.

Dont do what you are thinking, the only way you could do so is to have your kickers be your midbass and other be your midrange, and with the midbass in the back of the car its going to sound terrible. Plus the driver your using most likely will not play all that a midrange should properly. I cannot say for sure because i dont know your equipment.

But the idea of running a 3 way stage with the midbass as rearfill is really bad. I say sell the kickers and get a HU you can go active with and go from there
