Can I tune a already made ported box to a lower frequency?

Jeff, seems like 32hz is a popular tune is 35 much of a difference ? I've always wanted low low deep bass. I'm thinking more like 28 hz, how's something like that sound ? I listen to mainly hip hop.

tune to 35 imo.. i play down to 26 pretty hard before it drops off and im tuned somewhere before 33-35

Lows are probably already there. You just need to get louder overall. More power, stronger subs more cone area.
