Can I transfer movie from Directv DVR receiver to my external HD?

Anytime you listen to a CD even if you buy it your not listening to the radio. So what your saying is all cds and itunes etc. Are bad because radio are losing listeners. Maybe people want to hear the music they want and not one good song every 15min followed by advertisements for things they don't want.

Thats just as stupid as saying you shouldn't buy from brand x because brand y won't get money.

Radio does 2 things, it promotes record sales, and pays bills for many people. So it you don't illegally pirate music you are more likely to listen to the radio and in turn more likely to buy albums.

The point isn't between radio and record sales, they both complement each other rather than undercut each other. The point is that piracy hurts both of them.
