can i power my amp in home like this?

**** yo couch
i have a plug in power supply for some old speakers 4 my comp but it says input ac 120v 60 hz...output dc 12v 300mA could i connect it to my amp to power it if i put fuses in it? and if so would i just use the black wire as ground? it has a white one and a black one made by plantronics inc part no 29527-01 please help i wanna feel my subz in my bed
