Can I Go Active With What I Have?

I'm in the process of buying a new car and was looking to go active. Here's what I have.

H/U - Eclipse CD8445

Speakers - CDT ES-620

Amp - Eclipse XA4000.

Will all the available EQ controls on the headunit be enough to make going active worth it?

Yep, you'll be fine. That HU should allow you to go 2-way active with a control also for your sub(s).

For the lows I have 2 10" jlw6v2 and a Hifonics BXI 1206.

No, that headunit will NOT allow a two way active setup. The crossover for the tweeter is not going to be high enough. I believe the highest high pass filter on it is like 200hz or so. It's mainly used for a low pass on the sub and a high pass for the mids. They're also not singularly adjustable and track one another.

The amp may allow it but I am not familiar with its crossover setup.
