OG, still fly.
I have a speaker that on one side the tinsel lead came off. Its not ripped off, nor is anything burnt. The cone looks perfect but has a little film where you can see the glue went on. It just looks like the glue didnt hold on very well so it just came off. Im wondering if i could just glue it back on and if it would be ok?

It came off the cone. I took a few pics but this is the best my camera will do.

There is a single bottom wire that is still attached that runs to the coil so its not completely detached from the cone. On the other side the wire runs down to the coil so i know it didnt rip down the cone.

You'd have to remove the dustcap... and then epoxy the piece back on... all the while making sure it doesn't ruin any moving parts.

Anywhere i can find a tutorial or information on how to do this?

yea you should just poor out some liquor for them. robot undeerground still sells a lot of old orion ish on ebay. they have the hcca mids which should be pretty much the sae3m as those.
Not really understanding what your trying to say. I would try to fix it myself but i just dont have the time right now. Still works because of that single wire, but you can tell. If i can get any tips on how to accomplish this ill try it out. If all you have to do it take off the cone and expoy them, that doesnt sound to hard. If worse comes to worse ill just f*ck up the speaker beyond repair and try to get something else, its that simple.

i tore the tinsel leads on my 05 xxx 18... anyone know where i can get some replacements?
will be a simple repair, its torn where it's visible on the outside.
Contact Fi, you'll need to take off the dustcap. Remove all the hardened CA glue, de-soldered the tinsels from the coil leads at the top of the former. Resolder new tinsel leads, run them through the joint out to the speaker terminals, and solder them to the terminals. Then reglue the tinsels with lots of CA under the dustcap, and return the dustcap glued on.

You need to be careful, and meticulous, especially dealing with the coils leads.
