you could just take your subs/amp all that shit out, then when you go to court tell them you learned your lesson and sold your speakers cause you dont want another ticket....

u will not get off scott free. U may get a lesser fine if the judge is nice. But i would just pay the fine and get it over with.

how would i lie to the cop and say i didnt have any subs...i own a suv with the subs in a HUGE box in plain view lol. i didnt really "give him lip". i said "cause i like it that loud" yes, but i didnt say it with an attitude. i said it in a way that was like dumbfounded if you will.

the judge kinda laughed when she read why i was there, she was also more pissed off about the kid who was doing 120 in a 55 area. lol that guy got 2 points on his lisence that day

Yeah, it's just a strain on the back pocket for the time being. I would again though just fight it using the distance, if you were both driving and he doesn't have documented where he and you were you should get off.

It doesn't go to "trial" just goes to court in front of a judge...doesn't cost anything unless you're forced to miss work in which case it costs you your time.

It's not a murder case. You stand in front of a podeum and talk to the judge. Or you sit in front of there desk in an office...

Just do what you want to do.

in cali, most city cops hang in court for one day week so tickets aren't dismissed. schedule a court date, then call to re-schedule it to another day. most cops won't be able to make it, and the ticket will be dismissed if you plead not guilty. however, if the cop shows up or your city gives out a lot of tickets you should plead guilty.
