soo what do i need to do a bench test. my amp is to old for MTX have any paper work. i asume ill need a Oscope and a DMM and some test tones
The idea of using a bench supply is that the supply voltage generally is more stable (if you have a sufficient PSU, of course //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif), doesn't have the voltage drop that you incur in the vehicle.Assuming you have everyhing you need to take the measurements why not bench it in the car at 14v?
You most likely can't afford one...i always wanted to do this also. made a post about it a long time back. where can you purchase the proper power supply?
understood, i was just wondering out curiousity. You most likely can't afford one...
Dominick Iraggi will do bench tests at no charge... all you have to do is pay the shipping..
