Can Fi recone XXX's?

You DO NOT use another subwoofer's built parts to recone a different subwoofer.

Get this OUT OF YOUR HEAD KIDS!!! WOW.

If you have a XXX, you don't just recone it with "Q parts" or "BTL Parts" or "Jackmeoff Parts"...

The recone will be parts MADE for the XXX, made with the correct alignment and top-plate spacing, gap-size and such in mind. Most subwoofers share the same style parts, such as spiders and coils, and definitely cones/surrounds... but in different stiffnesses and configurations.

So, you don't take "BlahBlah soft parts" and drop it in a XXX. Doesn't work that way.

But if it looks almost the same, doesnt that mean it is the same?

You know how the mag and q look like one another, so that means its the same sub?

Frankenwoofers usually dont fair to well, and usually perform far worse than the original. Scott will recone the XXX motor assembly with XXX compatible softparts, not just any softparts that happen to fit in the Motor.
