Can DD's be sealed?

I am looking into buying 2 15" DD 3515's. The only problem is I'd have to seal them, and they would get around 3 cuft each sub. Can this work? On the other hand I finaly found a offer on the sub I'v wanted for a long time, a SI 15" Mag. I could run the mag in a 3.5 cu ft ported box tuned to 33 hz. With SPL and SQ put to the side, what would you rather take and can a DD be put in a sealed box?

Any sub can be put in a sealed box, but IMO there's no point in getting them if you have to seal them. Just go with 12s and port them.

2 DD sealed is gonna be terrible, they have super stiff suspensions and are built to be run in a huge ported box, you put them in a sealed the stiff suspension works against you instead of for you.

The mag for sure because the DD will not work in your application.

A single DD in 3.5 -4 cubes ported is gonna be loud as hell if you get propper power on it. the Mag is gonna win the SQ battle no matter what and get pretty **** loud doing it.

Do not put them in a sealed box, buy my 9515 and port it..

the deal is for 2...so id have to sell one off and im an SQ guy i just dont know if a mag will be loud enough as I also love SPL...(I know...**** near imposible to mix)

But yeah, definitely go ported with the 15" Mag or 3515.

out of the two i'd take the Mag. But since you're an SQ guy, find 2 12" Mags , if possible, or 2 12" XXX's and really wang while sounding good

and why not to 15" mags in a sealed. Nick over on their forum said they still get pretty loud in a 2 cu ft sealed
