can anyone give me an estimation?

ive got a 95 grand prix, stock everything, except the battery, which has been changed over the years, but it nothing special. I have a 1000 watt amp at 14.4 volts, but im wondering if anyone can give me an estimate on how much wattage this thing is actually seeing. im not looking for an exact number, just am i talking, is it more like 900 watts, 600 watts, or 750 watts? If anyone could give me a clue on this i would apriciate it.
