Can anyone give me a real reason my system sucks?

You'll be ovepowering the 13, and underpowering the 10's as stated above.

But let me ask you this, why go through all that hassle, just for mixing/matching.Not to mention the extra cost.

if you know much about jl amps u know that they put out about 185% of what they are rated for so that will be somewhere around 1600-1800 wats between the 4 10's and the big big sub will be set to a smaller gain to keep the punchy sound that you get from the 10's at all levels

I truly hate to burst your bubble (actually, no I don't that's a lie) but the JL amps will NOT do 1600-1800 watts.

The MOST I've ever seen out of a single 1000/1 is around 1200.

he thought it would look cool and he thought he knew what he was doing and he thought it would be loud. im sure it is pretty loud but hes missing out on alot of bass.

diffferent.... sized.... speakers.........

if they share the common chamber thats the 2nd biggest mistake

also sony amps ****... jl amps are good, over priced and only do rated power... ive owned a few and tested em so dont try and tell me otherwise

i can not belive that i just read somethin that said that. i truly hope you were completely joking when you said that, otherwise i would really love to know who told you that a 1000/1 does 1600-1800

dont you think jl would have called it a, oh i dunno 1500/1 if it did that much?

thx for the new sig addition
i was wrong about my comment about 1800 watts but you have to admit the equalizers do seem to make 1 watt sound like 2 (1000 watts from a jl sounds way louder than 1000 from an alpine or rockford or many other brands)
