ive been out of school for a bit and i finished pre calc 12 years ago... but i can not figure out this equation... its a new i phone brain app

log 16(x-4) = log 3(3-x)

log(x-2) = log 5(x)

are you trying to say

log (Base(16)) (x-4) or log (16x-64)

The TI83 will only do base ten and base e.

You would have to apply the change of base formula in order to do that.

lol thats what I was doing.

but I'm pretty sure it's not the right way to do it.
