Can a XXX 15 handle 2 Viper 1200's?

maybe you should just sell the sub and get a sub that requires a smaller ported box....

IMO after haveing one ported and sealed i'd say it MIGHT handle it sealed but not to full power...the xxx doesnt cool very well at all in sealed boxes......ported it is much more heat efficent...so ported difinitly ut not sealed...i ran 1100w rms to one sealed and it didnt like it...heated up mad bad....but ported i give it 1800wrms without problems at ALL

There's no way a XXX should even flinch at 1100 watts, ported or sealed. Id say there was something else going on if you truely had heat issues with the sub. XXX's cool just fine in sealed enclsoures, they are not hurt any more or less than the next sub by running it sealed.
