Can a Kicker KK400.2 Amp power this:...

4 - JL Audio W0 150 RMS 12" Subwoofers

The guy from Radioactive (basically radio shack), told me the amp is 800 watts RMS but that cant be true I only paid $150 used for it. But if it is true RMS, should I just buy 2 Alpine Type R 12" Subs?

ATM, I have 1 JL Audio 12" and an MTX Audio 10" and the salesman said my amp is designed to run 4 12"s. But I would rather run 2 12's that slam instead of 4 average 12"s.

your going to need a bigger amp.that amp is only 400 watts bridged,wont run 4-12's that great!

Ok thanks. Now I feel like I was screwed over.

I spent:

$100 JL w0 12"

$150 Kicker 400.2 Amp

$90 12" and 10" Box [10" sub was for free]

$25 wire kit

$40 Harness Kit

$95 Sony Head Unit

$100 Instalation

$600 for about 250 - 300 RMS on bass =/

Looking online I could have done so much better.

amartin_72 - It was $80 the first time to install the 12" and Kicker 150.2 Amp. A week later I upgraded to the Kicker 400.2 and added the 10" for another $20 in installtion fees and $30 for the amp (went from new amp to used)
