can a alpine 7893 hook to a ipod?

thinking of getting a ipod and a alpine 7893 can don't really like the mp3 cd. i like it but i don't...anyone know if i can hook it up

You can get an adapter that will give you an auxiliary input with RCA jacks, then you'd need an RCA-to-1/8" stereo plug adapter to hook up the Ipod. You wouldn't have any control from the head unit, however...just volume.

very true however. .. . . a newer deck would better serve your purpose of going with an ipod/HU solution.
