Hi, I have a 99 Toyota 4runner 3.4L v6 engine.

I currently have a stock alternator and want to add multiple alternator to the SUV.

I've seen that it does everywhere on Tahoes and Yukons, but I havent seen it done on

any Import SUV. I want to keep the stock alternator on there for more power plus

the lifetime warranty I have on it. Don't worry, I worked for Toyota so I'll get the

lifetime even if they see that the belts are modified.

So can the added 2nd HO alternator be done?

It's kind of hard to tell because there's barely any room to work with.

Thanks

its a hassle, but pertty awesome thing to do. ive never had to use one for the build i usually do but it is cool. its always doable, jsut got to figure out if you NEED it and how much time and money you have. lol. i helped a couple froends of mine at mobile solutions and rockford fosgate fab one a while back in a range rover...fun fun...took forever and the guy who i assisted was insanly skilled at custom anything. as well as the other BAMF's working on the truck. like jason degos , greg cobbs and mark lowe. truly bamf installers. make me look like a chump and im pretty good.
