Can a 15 l7 handle 2000 rms daily????

LOL, you think that efficiency has nothing to do with how much power that amp REALLY pushes.............LOL. You call me a noob, and you are telling this guy that he can run 2K rms to a L7 15............You are nutz.
I'm giving it 2,000w on a 40hz sine wave under ideal conditions, not on music. On music, It'd be lucky to see 1,000w or so after impedance rise.

And you're still a noob.

he is asking if the l7 can take a 2kw burp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Ok, to set the record straight all in all.

Music is dynamic. It has peaks, but usually its nowhere close to them. The L7 is rated at 1000w RMS, and my amp is rated at 2000w RMS. But, because of factors like impedance rise, and the dynamic nature of music, chances are that the L7 will only see above 1000 or 1500w once in a blue moon, maybe on a really heavy bass note or something. But on normal occasions, it's probably seeing between 300 and 800w or so, even though my amp supposedly puts out 2000w. So unless I'm blaring rap music at full tilt all afternoon, chances are that the sub will be just fine on a 2000w amp. And yes, the L7 will easily sustain a 2kW burp. Been there, done that, got the trophy. See sig.

And Benjamin, you're a friggin queer, and I hope all the bad things in life happen to you, and nobody else but you. Get over yourself.
