Camaro stereo overhaul?

Ok so I have a 95 z28 camaro just upgraded from a 96 RS. The 96 had factory bose with amplifier and subwoofer and the new one does not. Just four bose speakers with no amp or sub. Im just wondering, what are some opinions of what I could do to at least match the sound of the last camaro. I know I will need a sub/amp and maybe speakers. But my big questions is, what kind of amp should I get to get some extra power to the speakers and power the sub. I don't want ridiculous or over powering bass, just something that sounds good with most of the rock/metal I listen to.

ok so i have found my choice of sub enclosure and amp. 1 10" kenwood in a custom enclosure and a 5 channel kenwood amp powering the stock speakers. the only question is, how to hook it all up? I have a flip up pioneer HU and seriously need some help hooking it all up or would be willing to pay 1-200 bucks for someone to put it in for me.

You can read around and people will respond to you on here. Its really not hard to install a singe amp man, calm down and take it step by step. First off can we get a link to the amp youve found? I personally like kenwood though some dont, its deff better then bose lol

Im think that for your sub we can do better then kenwood, but amp should be more then sufficient for your needs. You said you were going to build your own box or have one built? Either way just dont get a pre-fab

For your amp you can just get a wiring kit, im sure a 4gauge kit will work fine. Also need to know the model of you pioneer HU, how many preouts are on the back? Are you sure you can run 3 sets of RCAs?

What do you mean by match the sound? Are you saying you liked the bose system?

I have a 95 z28.

If I were you and wanted somethign very simple Id look for a 4x125 wpc amp. Throw some good comps up front and bridge the rear channels to an SSA dcon. The large ported for a single sub sounds amazing in the z28.

Thats really not a bad idea, or an IA I series 10
