im going to have to agree indrectly on a different level.... this thread is a waste of space. Pissn matches should at least belong at a spl event where a meter can made the call on who's louder.

Another interesting point was brought up, in which what the definition of "loud" is, weather you are loud at say 145 db at 20 hz verses 145 db at 20 hz......verses 150 db at 50 hz and the like...... Lets look at it another way, what is the legal sanctioned SPL body determining their points scale on??? Last time I looked, it had no allotment for fequency at a decibel level, so the score still stands at what it is, weather you did 145 at 20 hz verses 145 at 80 hz.....it is what it is, period.

i saw the LS, didn't talk to boomin' though. pretty nice lookin' car, sounded decent from 10 feet away also.

was it the loudest to the ear? not by far. there were alot of vehicles that ran reality w/a 145+, which measures what you hear at your ears. reality is always quieter than the kick.

i would guess the LS is around a 140~141 at the HR(sedans usually don't see a major drop). not bad, but no where near the loudest to the ear. he could of came by Mark or i and we would of ***** his eardrums for him..... below 45hz

So now its not even that it was a trunk car... its that it was a "nice" trunk car... I bought my blazer for $1500, I guess thats why its 8db louder than you?

I didn't pay much attention... it was quiet.

Lots of trunk rattle, really didn't sound like he was playing 29hz... but I didn't see the TL, so I can't say anything there.

This all could have been avoided if he 1: said something to any of us at the show... and 2: didn't attempt to say he had one of the loudest setups to the ear
