all companies will put a smaller pulley on. the places ive talked to in the past have all askeddoesnt dc give you smaller pulley so they have more idle, mechman is stock pulley still has good idle numbers, if you put a smaller pulley on that youd have even better?
so 700 in park roughlyparkmy avalanche sits right around 800
WOW glad i didnt go mechman thats shit said to do 150 and cant even do half of it wowif i keep it revved at 800 i tend to lose about .1 mpg a day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif 700 doen't see a difference but still can't use a/c at idle without voltage dropping. Stock idle = 90 amp mechman = 60 idle online service book says i need minimum 90 at idle, but they said no refund b/c mine is special order what kinda shit is that? not my fault they didn't do research to see how much i NEED at idle. I was under the impression it was going to be 150 @ idle at least that's what i was emailed
Simple solution......don't be blasting your shit at stop lights //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
that is a pretty low idle, so perhaps a smaller/custom pulley would help.
I run a single DC 275A and 9 batts in my daily set up pushing 14k of power and have ZERO issues. I demo full tilt for 5-10 minutes at a time and bring the RPM's up to around 1500.
BigJoker runs a DC alt with 5 batts and 7k of power and he demos at IDLE for 30+ minutes at time because he's F'ing deaf //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
you sure you read the sheet right? the rpms on the sheet are alternator rpms not your enginesif i keep it revved at 800 i tend to lose about .1 mpg a day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif 700 doen't see a difference but still can't use a/c at idle without voltage dropping. Didn't I just say my DC came with a stock size pulley?all companies will put a smaller pulley on. the places ive talked to in the past have all asked"is this going to be driven at highway speeds or more for comps"
my response was about ho alts in general. not just yoursDidn't I just say my DC came with a stock size pulley?
Because my camera wont pick up frequencies that low... If I remember correctly that was right at 30hz...what i don't get is why does it drop down so low when the system isn't even playing.
no current drawn so none produced?
First off, It's not a GM alternator.. Watch the video in the other thread.. Look close at the alternator, surely someone with your intelligence and vast knowledge of alternators should be able to tell the difference between an AD244, AD300, 6G etc.. Clearly, that alternator is not one of those..How can you get those numbers out of a CS alt or a GM large case HO alt and still be able to sell them for under $1000.

Why you so skeptical man?? You must have really been burned in the past by one of my competitors.. Or something...
Like I said in the other thread, what kind of car do you have, and where do I send the bill since you said if it was possible you would buy one?
I also said man, the doors always open.. Feel free to grab whatever kind of test equipment you feel you need to come prove me wrong.. Just dont be too shocked when you dont...
