I want to know what is inside the rear cab support. Its the bump about 13 inches from the floor, and right below the rear window. I have a 92 standard cab, and would like to screw into it.

If anyone knows please tell me.

Ill get some pics tomorrow if no-one knows what im talking about.

here this thing!

not the red thing, but the bump near the window

I think its just a suport part.. I'd take a look on the other side & then sink some screws..Enjoy

I believe it's hollow, and dont want to run a screw to deep causing it to go through the other side of the cab, or anything that may be run through it.

I dont think, but you never know, that gas lines or electrical lines would be through there. I just really dont want to hit anything expensive.

I have a 99 ranger and my notch, while not as big as the one on the earlier models such as yours, is just the trim panel. There is a flat wall behind it. There are no hoses or wires to worry about drilling into though.
