So prop 47 passed and now non violent crimes have been dropped from felonys to misdemeanors. So what i live off of (bail bonds) will take a major hit. My company (Mad Dog Bail Bonds) will probably close down because we lived off of posession arrests and petit theft/burglary which is now just something youll get cited for. So if you want to do coke, heroin, meth or whatever or rob a house or a store (just keep it under $950) and not worry about going to jail, cali is the state for you! EFF YOU stupid people who voted yes on this SH_IT!!!

I don't feel like drugs should ever be a felony unless you're selling to kids. Grant it I don't agree with Heroin use, but its your life... As for robbery, that'll end up being a mistake in the long run.

Exactly, they want to save money and reduce jail over crowding but at what cost? Theres going to be ALOT of felons thatll be released because their cases are being looked at again.

Us and police we're friends with a UC and hes just as pissed off because he was in the drug department and thats what he busted drugs, now hes just a god **** ticket guy unless get busts someone for sales.

Most of the people that get busted for drug use are deadbeats that got no jobs, steal for the drug, and put others in danger so i do think it should be a felony. Yea i partied and did my dirt and my friends still do but unlike the people that get busted we werent out in the street in some alley doing ****. We want to have clean streets but now people are gonna be on corners in cuts shooting up/doing meth and a cop sees them itll be a **** ticket and "dont do it again" PSH as soon as the cop leaves theyll just hit it again. Robbery yea its a mistake and i dont think people should get locked up for stealing jeans or makeup which is most our cases since theres a big mall next to us but i agree on the $950 limit.

Non violent crimes generally shouldn't be felonies. Drug use should definitely not be a felony. No matter if you smoking bud or shooting dope.

Addiction is a muthafuca and will make people do crazy things that don't represent them as a person. Drugs change you. Your not the same person. I don't feel if you used dope. Got caught, then get clean you should have a felony dope conviction over your head. More likely that will cause someone to go back to the street life and would further hurt people.

You may not like the laws, but in general it seems like a good idea. We know 100% the prison system is failing right now. Why not try some new ideas?
