my box is 11 cuft and my external dimensions are...

53.25" wide

24" tall

18.25" deep

i will not be using a side wall as part of my port...it will be in the middle between the subs...can someone either give me a link to a calculator or just do it for me? thanks

edit: o and btw the subs will be inverted so they dont count in displacement...and i want it tuned to 35hz

edit: i just downloaded winISD and i get a port that is 5.51" x 5.51" x 2.23"......something seems wrong

edit: o i think i have figured it out...you have to put in your opening size and it will tell you how long the port needs to be

Your not using enough port area.

Using a kicker two 15" L7's as my model

I figure you should build a 10" x 10"

port that is 13.22" deep. The net

box displacement is right at 10.5 cubic

feet.

after i figured it out i got a port that is 22.5" tall, 4" wide, and 11.3" deep

would this work?

edit: same airspace

I ran your enclosure in bassbox pro 6 and the above port and the box in your first post would put you at 35.55hz with a port area of 90sqin. It would work well with your subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

yep thats what i was aiming for

dear god i have tried winISD, re, and carstereo.com and i have gotten 3 different measurements

all are 22.5 tall and 4 in wide

winISD-----11.3

re-----------13.25 turn and go 8

carstereo--8.17

You could do something like this and it will work:

That's right around 9 cubes tuned to 35hz with 135in^2 of port area. You will need bracing on that back wall though.

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...

While that program is pretty neat, it assumes you know the values. I was just recapping the numbers you provided. RS recommends the following...

Whoa, that will be one skinny port. The width of the back wall ports will be 1.08" wide (27.5mm), but the front port will be shared by 2 subs so...
