which one would you suggest to run 2 type r 12's

the cadence txa-1000d or the hifonics bxi1208d??

or is there something in the same price range that would be better

I would go hifonics, but I would step up to the next model up. Those type R's can take a good amount of power.

cadence, the sq and power are actually there. hifonics just guesses what it might put out.

that was my whole reason for asking is because im sure i wont be making 14v so i dont think the hifonics will actually be making its rated power plus i can get the cadence and a cadence 300/4 fom someone for 210 shipped im not lookin to win any stereo battles lol just wanna sound better than my 2 hifonics 12's on my power accoustic amp lol

i had a hifonics bxi 2008d. it was a nice amp but im not sure of there less rms amps im sure there all pretty much the same.

search BB1250.1 in the classifieds. It will give you plenty of power and on the cheap.

The Cadence TXA-1000D would be perfect for two type r's. I ran my two type r's off of a Cadence TXA-1000D and they slammed. The amp never got hot either.
