says it's pretty much built like the SWR-1222D

is this too good to be true?

I almost never buy into **** like this, but if nobody has tested it, go for it. It comes down to a lot more than magnet size and rating. Magnet type, voice coil size, what spiders, all of that come into play. So you never know. But I have no experience with this sub.

It's being compared to an OLD type R which is crap. In this price and power range, look at AudioTechnix Strato, Incriminator I, Sundown E, Tantric LD, etc.
