Cadence, Pioneer, or Kenwood?

I've heard Kenwoods like to overheat and their mono amps don't put out their rated power at 2 or 1 ohms

I would never buy a pioneer amp, only hu's from them

Cadence is pretty good for the price.

I'm pretty sure you could find something better for the same price.

I had the 9104D, it's really not that great. Went it to protect mode more easily than I would've liked. I forgot which magazine did a review, but they tested it and couldn't even get it to close to its rated power at 2 ohms. Somewhat disappointing. Wouldn't be bad if you found a used one for about $100 or so, though.

I'd go with the Cadence, assuming they're legit amps. I've read there are some fake Cadence amps in circulation.

Well I'm open to suggestions. Need ~125-150W x 2 @ 4 Ohm for the 2 Channel, then ~600-800W for the mono; prices must remain where they are.

i just bought a couple cadence txa's havent hooked them up yet so cant comment on performance but i love the way they look....and like my MD boy jdawg said you dont want to be a douche...lol

I can't complain about my TXAs except 1 has a weird wine right at start up for about 5 seconds... Doesn't effect performance, but always makes me think wtf.. My CDTs seem to get plenty of power from the 300/2. I've never put the 1000d to the test as I've only run a RE RE on it, but it stays super cool at 2 ohms... The TXAs are excessivly big, but mine are tucked away in unused space under the seats anyways. All in all, TXAs = awesome price/performance ratio. Looks like the 750 is out of stock right now direct from cadence though

Alright, well I've gotten done to all the options:

Option #1:

Cadence TXA-3002; Cadence TXA-750D

Pros:

Cadence, so you know it's good.

Amps put out rated power.

Good warranty.

Cons:

Most expensive option.

Need to buy more wire/distribution block.

Option #2:

Cadence TXA-6004

Pros:

Cheaper than first option.

Don't need to buy more wire, or a distribution block.

Less space taken up using only one amp.

Cons:

Still not the cheapest option.

It's big.

Option #3:

Kenwood KAC-7204; Kenwood KAC-9104D

Pros:

Slightly cheaper than option 1; saving money is good.

More output than option one.

Cons:

Need to buy more wire/distribution block.

It's Kenwood, so people might mistake me for being a douche.

Option #4:

Planet Audio BB175.4B

Pros:

Cheapest option.

Higher power output than other options.

Don't need to buy more wire, or a distribution block.

Less space taken up using only one amp.

Cons:

Not sure if this is a reliable brand.

Not sure if this brand puts out rated power.

Opinions? Reasons why? Thanks.
