If I had one of those globe jigs I might try to move stuff around and see what is loudest in the kick for the ol' Jeep! Who sells those things ?

I think you can get them from USACi. I don't know of anywhere else.

BTW, if you start messing with outlaw, you'll find out your jeep is the shizz for an SUV at outlaw scores.

I pulled my very best explorer 2 12 box out, and slapped it in a buddy's Jeep just like your's. It was 0.5 dB down at the dash......not bad considering we just slapped it in there with no retuning. But the Jeep was almost 2 dB louder in the kick, than it was in my explorer.

Before I said screw it, and stopped competing, I was going to get one of those Jeeps to run USAC street beat. Never did it, but I was going to. I don't think you can get a better non CRX/S10 street beat vehicle.

If you are using the peak hold figures to calculate impedence rise, then guess what, that number is wrong too.
The peak hold numbers don't do a whole lot of good for anything.

However, since you always do that then I guess it would be a fairly accurate way of tracking it, though I still wouldn't do it that way since the spiked peak hold numbers could be all over the place.
