Prototype "Monster" sub that I've posted about.

The Nightshade topped out at 152.1 in the Jeep - which should be about 155.1 or so in the kick, although, I don't recall if I actually metered it there or not. That was just a regular "stock" original Nightshade.

These D1000s are kind of small... six of them is not much heavier than three D3100s that I had before for 12v.

Either way that's still pretty impressive.

I tried an L7 8" in my truck and the best I got out of my quick testing was a 149 outlaw @ 40 hz.

With a few quick changes I know i could get it over a 150. This was off my zx2500 wired to 2 ohm nominal. No idea what the rise was but i'd say it was probably a true 1000-1200 watts.

158 out of a pair of 8's is just nasty though.
